Cortona3D is a solution partner of Siemens PLM Solftware. This program is designed to create an influential community of users and software providers dedicated to delivering innovative experiences to the PLM market.

Siemens Teamcenter powers innovation and productivity by connecting people and processes with a single source of product and process knowledge. Teamcenter’s portfolio of proven digital lifecycle management solutions is built on an open PLM foundation to power end-to-end PLM. Teamcenter allows companies to create and communicate the correct set of requirements to downstream decision-makers, enabling users to maximize the power of their product knowledge and leverage it to increase the profitability and productivity of every stage in their product lifecycle.

The partnership between Siemens PLM Software and Cortona3D will enable Siemens PLM Software clients to create visually intuitive 3D interactive technical publications using the standard Teamcenter interface. Cortona3D Rapid products will be launched directly from Teamcenter and information passed seamlessly from one application to the other. When authoring is finished, the resulting documentation and graphics will be automatically stored in Teamcenter content management. Updates to content may be automatically processed or require author approval. Publishing can be automated and content delivered to Teamcenter MRO.

The JT format has become a standard in the visualization of digital assets in the design and product development process. Using the JT Open toolkit ensures Cortona3Ds’ customers have the full potential of extending the digital assets throughout the extended enterprise.
